Digital Story Narrative

Graffiti has existed since ancient times, with examples going back to Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. Graffiti can be anything from simple scratch marks to elaborate wall paintings. Sometimes graffiti is employed to communicate social and political messages. To some, it is an art form worthy of display in galleries and exhibitions; to others it is merely vandalism. There are many different types and styles of graffiti and it is a rapidly evolving art form.

Street art is about using your environment as a collaborator. City streets can be incredibly vibrant canvases for artists to work with. But more and more, artists are discovering that other settings can be equally exciting. If you look around you will see street art in the countryside, on the beach, in the mountains. More and more people now participate in street art, not just in New York, but in places like London, Berlin, Tokyo, and Rio de Janeiro. There are magazines and art galleries devoted to street art. Even some large corporations have noticed and are looking at using street art as a way to reach young and design-conscious consumers.

Digitales Evaluation

This link shows that I evaluated three Digitales videos. The video that I thought has the most globally competent is were just Americans, by Linda a middle school teacher. This video connected with people not only from Japan but from around the world. It brought a lot of cultural information and showed how her family stuck together thru there hardships. It also showed the responsibilities of a global citizen when there country is in trouble.
